Go for a Swim
On a hot summer day in Redondo Beach, it’s always a nice to cool off with a swim. If you have youngsters though, a safer option than the beach is Seaside Lagoon. This public pool is open from May to September and provides lifeguard supervised swimming areas in addition to children’s play equipment, a snack bar, restaurant and volleyball courts. There are also grass areas and shelters for events and picnics.
Celebrate the Holidays
When Christmas time rolls around in Redondo Beach, by the water is where you want to be. The Redondo Beach Marina and the King Harbor Yacht Club both hold lighted boat parades that are free and can be viewed from the along the pier, marina or the break wall. Learn About the SEA
For a both fun and educational experience, check out the SEA Lab, an educational science center in Redondo Beach that offers low-cost programs for all ages.
